With three supervised inputs (REX, door monitor, tamper) the Borer Hitag Integrated Proximity Controller/Reader is all that is required to secure the door.

This power frugal device allows you to take full advantage of Power over CAN, Power over Ethernet (PoE) techniques and the use of CAT5 networks.

By installing the Integrated Proximity Controller/Reader, all door components are kept at a maintainable user level and rids the need of bulky controller boxes, power supplies, batteries and mains power outlets which all cut the total cost of ownership and significantly reduce installation time.

The Hitag Proximity Controller/Reader employs the latest in intelligent card access control reader technology. It communicates using Controller Area Network, conforming to the ISO 11898 standard for serial data communication.

CAN provides a secure, high speed data link for mission critical systems, which is ideal for access control and alarm monitoring applications.
